Domain Names
Before you post your new web site on the Internet, you will need to register a domain name. This is the name that a visitor will use when they access your site. This is how web browsers know how to find your site online.

Domain names come with a variety of suffixes. The most common ones are .com, .net, .org, but there are a variety of others. First, you will need to find out if the name you want is available. Domain names can be hot commodities. If you do not yet have a domain name, Sajoba LLC will help register one for you.
You may also want to consider a second domain name if there are similar names that someone might search for. You can have the second domain mirror or re-direct to your main domain.
There are many places on the web that offer domain name registrations at cut-rate prices. You get what you pay for. We use DreamHost to register domains for our clients. DreamHost is an ICANN accredited registrar and will register the following suffixes (.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .name, .pro) for $9.95 per domain per year, and you can register up to 9 years at a time.
We find it easiest to have your domain registered with your hosting service. If you choose to register your domain elsewhere, it is your responsibility to make sure that it is renewed each year.
